Khuva contains a large array of naturally produced secondary metabolites, known as postbiotics. Postbiotics are the bioactive functional metabolites from probiotics. Meaning, they are the beneficial compounds produced by probiotics through the digestion of prebiotics. Postbiotics are the health benefit our bodies receive through healthy functioning probiotics. Postbiotics help to regulate and maintain a healthy functioning microbiome. Postbiotics are known to support the immune system, help to prevent and treat diarrhea, reduce symptoms of irritable bowel disease and reduce the severity of certain allergies. Nothing compares to a healthy diet rich in Short Chain Fatty Acids (prebiotics), but over generations our bodies have been depleted of probiotics. Sometimes when introducing new probiotics our guts can experience some irritation and bloat. The purpose of introducing probiotics to our system is to maintain a healthy microbiome and in turn a healthy immune system. These introduced probiotics have a purpose though and that is to create postbiotics. Khuva was made to bypass the addition of new probiotics especially during an already active flare up of irritation in the gut. Khuva is the benefit of postbiotics without the probiotics. Taken consistently our customers notice a regulated bowel, reduced diarrhea and lessening of symptoms related to inflammation or allergies. Of course, everyone is different and there are no two cases alike so results will vary.
